As we know Google is trying hard to keep its Google+ venture alive by introducting a postitive influence on the search with Google+ likes.

Google’s Official: Recommendations on How to Do Mobile Site Optimization:
After telling webmasters and admins how to optimize site for search engines with Best SEO practices guide some time back, now Google has come up with Mobile SEO practices and recommendations.

Yahoo coming up with Axis:
As per the official site (http://axis.yahoo.com/) Yahoo! Axis redefines what it means to search and browse the Web. Yahoo! Axis offers a faster, smarter search with instant answers and visual search previews. Doesn’t appear to hit the search engine market directly as the current options ask you to download for desktops, ipads and iphone only.

Yahoo Explorer is now Bing Explorer:
Yes, this is certainly a good news for the SEO’s and specifically link builders who were so dependent on the link exploring tool from Yahoo, which got offline recently.It has bounced back with a new logo, yes its Bing!
Search Marketers can only hope for the same quality delivered else it will die soon.

Linkedin and the password leak:
After the leak of 6 millioin+ linkedin account-passwords last week, the social networking giant has taken the security breach and criticism very seriously. As per the official blog, those who were exposed to the account hacking activities were notified instantly.

Google buys and shuts down Meebo:
In a move to boost up its Google+ social media network again, Big G’s rumoured buy of Meebo on 4th of June this year and the moving the staff of the company to enhance features and capabilities of G+. Only time will tell if this a good move or not.
